About the Trainer

I have surrounded myself with dogs for as long as I can remember. I got my very first dog, a large hound mix, over 30 years ago. Scooter was out of control and I had no idea how to train him. That is where my journey began. Since then, I have developed my skills in canine behaviour and training and have become an expert in my field.

Allow me to extend a helping hand as you embark on your journey. Whether you're seeking the ideal puppy to become a cherished member of your family, seeking guidance to lay the foundation for your new furry companion, or in need of assistance to address any disobedience or behavioral problems your dog may be experiencing, I am here to assist you.

I use force-free methods of training introducing positive associations to help you and your puppy gain confidence and strengthen the bond you share. I make training, fun and easy; you and your dog will be delighted and proud as you quickly begin to  see progress.

My Experience

My canine career started in 1988 volunteering at Toronto Humane Society and since then have volunteered with various shelters and rescues, cared for puppies in a pet store, offered dog walking, worked as a manager, trainer and behaviourist and 3 doggie daycares, completed pet first aid certificate and presently run both Rainfire Training and Rainfire Photography (pet photography.)
